The project was to convert a former fast food outlet, situated within a principal local shopping centre within Jersey into a high class delicatessen, which is proposed to be the first of a chain of similar outlets within the Channel Islands and the mainland.

The delicatessen at ground floor level is fully air conditioned with chilled food display cabinets, the staircase to the basement has been relocated to maximise the available retail area at ground floor.

The existing ground floor shop front has been replaced with a more traditional timber shop front.

The lower ground floor, which has a separate access, has been converted into a ‘stand alone’ butchery outlet, which served the hotel and restaurant trade within the island in addition to the delicatessen at ground floor. The lower ground floor also incorporates a new chiller and freezer in addition to the new staff room.
